USC - Davis School of Gerontology Dr. Cohen Lab
Los Angeles, California
This project consisted of converting an existing 3,900 S.F. vivarium into laboratories and faculty research offices. A break room / lounge for graduate students was also included. The laboratory provides research space for the study of basic physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and molecular biology of mitochondrial-derived peptides (MDP’s).
Lundstrom & Associates Architects provided programming & planning, and schematic design through construction phase services. The lab included specialized accessory uses of a confocal microscope room, an autoclave room, and an 80 degree freezer storage room.
