USC - University Religious Center

Learning Environments

Los Angeles, CA

The renovation of this 14,200 S.F., two-story, mid-century modern facility required a very high degree of aesthetic sensitivity to complete the upgrade with minimal effect to the historic fabric. An example of this is exemplified by the new steel frame located in the iconic two story glass “Fish Bowl” meeting room. The University Religious Center was designed by the firm of Killingsworth Brady in 1973, and has been designated as a protected historical building.
