Western University - College of Pharmacy Renovation
Western University is a 15,000 S.F. project for the College of Pharmacy. It’s main goal was to update the lecture facilities in order to accommodate the current pedagogy shift to a more interactive technology driven form of teaching. The existing lecture halls were reconfigured to include pods of students to be seated at custom tables (also designed by L&A) that house large flat paneled monitors and advanced AV connectors that allow the consumption, creation, and sharing of information throughout the space that can be entirely curated by the instructor. In support of these 3 lecture spaces, we have provided break out rooms for groups of students to retreat and collaborate at a more detailed level. Equipped with the same type of AV tools, these rooms can interact with instructor and other rooms remotely dependent on the instructors programming.
