Western University - College of Pharmacy
Lundstrom & Associates Architects provided programming through close-out services for this 15,000 S.F. renovation, in order to accommodate the current pedagogy shift to a more interactive technology driven form of teaching. The existing lecture halls were reconfigured to include pod so students can sit at custom tables (also designed by L&A) that house large flat paneled monitors. The tables include advanced AV connectors that allow the consumption, creation, and sharing of information throughout the space that can be entirely curated by the instructor. In support of these 3 lecture spaces, there are breakout rooms for groups of students to retreat to and collaborate at a more detailed level. Equipped with the same type of AV tools, these rooms can interact with instructor and other rooms remotely.
